Kyrian's New Puppy!

Introducing the newest member of our family...Lola!

Kyrian has been asking for a puppy for over a year now and we have delayed getting him one until we thought Rylie was big enough...so, for his 4th Birthday we decided it was time to get him his puppy.
We are calling her a weenerdor (half weenie dog/half labrador - still not sure how that is possible) and her name is Lola. She is a sweetie and Kyrian loves her!

New House

We spent a long crazy weekend moving to our new house. Michael and I learned that we are blessed with some of the hardest working friends & family around...We worked so hard, but had a lot of fun in the process. We love you guys and can't even begin to express how much we appreciate everything you did to make this move so smooth. There are still several things that need to be done, but we got so much accomplished in 3 days, it is amazing! Here are some pics of the rooms that are the closest to being complete...

We were busy Easter weekend. We started by going to the zoo with Darius and Laila. The kids got to hunt eggs (sort of), ride the train and the carousel and see the animals. They had a good time.

Saturday afternoon we went to Granny K's house to hunt eggs with the cousins, had a cook out and then dyed eggs. It was fun to watch Rylie enjoy all the Easter fun, since she sort of understood what was going on this year. Kyrian had a really good time dying eggs...

Sunday morning, they woke up to all their goodies from the Easter Bunny and got to hunt the eggs hidden all over the living room in the "jammas" (Kyrian's word). We went to church and then back to Granny K's for Easter dinner. It was a busy weekend, but it was fun!

Sesame Street LIVE

Last Saturday we met Laura and Darius in Tulsa for "Sesame Street LIVE". Kenzie, Kyrian, Rylie and Darius all had a really good time clap and dancing along with Elmo and his friends. After the show we went to The Spaghetti Warehouse for dinner. There were a bunch of high school kids headed to prom there and Kenz LOVED all the princess gowns. We talked to a couple of the girls in the bathroom and one girl let Rylie touch the sparkles on her dress. After the big group left to go to their prom, we were the only people in the dining room...we laughed so hard and had a really good time. They all had a good time and in the last picture you can see that Michael and I had a very quiet ride home...

A day with friends...

Today we went to my friend Liz's dad's house at Grand Lake. It's been a while since we have gotten to hang out, and it was nice to catch up and let the kids just have a good time playing together. Lane and Baylee are so sweet to my kidsand Kyrian and Rylie adore them...The "grown-ups" had fun watching old church camp videos circa 1987...very entertaining!!!

Our New House

We are excited to be moving to a new house next month. I will post pics of the inside once we get our stuff moved in, but here is the image of the outside from Google maps...It is the red brick 2 story with brown and dark blue trim. You might have to adjust the map a bit to see it.
